KAREN
O'NEAL, Chairman of the Board. Karen immigrated to the US from Cebu, Philippines in 1997. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant in the private sector for 15 years and is currently working for the City of Healdsburg's Community Development Center. She is a Notary Public for the State of California. Karen attended Santa Rosa Junior College in California and University of San Carlos in the Philippines. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for MoP and participating in local charity walks in her community. She loves books, movies, music, photography, and the outdoors. Karen lives with her husband, Steve O'Neal, in Santa Rosa, CA.
DOREEN FLIPPIN, President and Chief

Executive Officer. Doreen Flippin is Vice
President for Administration of The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations,
a national philanthropic organization that provides assistance to
educational, cultural, scientific and religious institutions in the
United States.
Doreen is an officer of the Fil-Am Community Council of Northeast Florida, an umbrella organization that represents other Filipino-American groups in the area. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Multi Cultural Network, a volunteer organization promoting appreciation for the diverse culture of different countries around the world.
She was a founding member of the Jacksonville Asian-American Alliance, a
nonprofit organization that promotes cultural, economic, educational
and social development of Asians in North Florida. Doreen attended Far Eastern University
and earned her bachelor's degree from Lyceum of the Philippines University.
GRACE
R. ALL EN, Vice President. Born
and raised in the Philippines from the island of Cebu, Graces
speak two different Filipino dialects and Spanish. Her family
moved to the Central Valley where she attended Kings River Community
College and met her husband Bobby James. They moved to San Luis
Obispo to attend CalPoly University. Of course they fell in love
with SLO and thecommunity and decided to stay. During her spare
time Grace loves to garden, spend time with family and friends, and
of course volunteer with READ Philippines. Grace is currently the Director of Visitor Services for San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce.
ALLAN MALUBAG, Chief Financial Officer.
Al Malubag is Maintenance, Trends & Analysis / Type Desk Officer for Patrol Coastal Squadron, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Norfolk, VA. Prior to his current position, he was Operations Manager for VSE Corporation’s Chesapeake, VA facility. He completed 30 years of honorable service in the United States Navy retiring as a Master Chief Petty Officer in 2005. He is an active member of the CPOA of Tidewater, an organization of active and retired military personnel in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area. Al holds an Associate in Science degree from the University of the State of New York and is an American Society of Quality Certified Quality Auditor. He is also a member in good standing of the American Society of Naval Engineers.
WARLITO VICENTE
JR., Corporate Secretary. Warlito Vicente is presently a Supply Chain Analyst with NYK
Logistics Supply Chain Solutions Division . Prior to his current post, Warlito was Research Associate
for the Medical Acupuncture Research
and Institute of America of Memphis, Tennessee. He was formerly
Systems Support Administrator of Burmeister and Waine Scandinavian
Contractor Mindanao Inc (BWSCMI), a Danish Independent Power Producer
that operates power barges in Mindanao. From 1994-1997, Warlito was
Division Manager of the Investment Generation and Project
Development of Davao Investment Promotion
Center/"Invest In Davao," a collaborative program of the City Government of Davao, USAID and the Philippine
Exporters Confederation which transformed Davao City from an
economic backwater into what Asiaweek called “The Philippines Most
Liveable City”. Warlito holds a Bachelors degree in
Biology from the Ateneo de Davao University.
RODEL CUSTODIO,
Development Director. Rodel is a second generation Fil-Am working as a logistician in the robust steamship transportation industry in Jacksonville, FL. Rodel's first visit to the Philippines came in June 2007 and instantly fell in love with the country and its distant familiarity. One thing that touched him was the vast disparities in quality of life between his native countrymen and peers in the US and he works hard to bridge those gaps through READ Philippines. He holds a bachelors degree in Transportation & Logistics Management from the University of North Florida and CTL certification from the American Society of Transportation and Logistics.
