WARLITO VICENTE
JR., Chairman of the Board.
Warlito Vicente is presently a Supply Chain Analyst with NYK
Logistics Supply Chain Solutions Division . Prior to his current post, Warlito was Research Associate
for the Medical Acupuncture Research
and Institute of America of Memphis, Tennessee. He was formerly
Systems Support Administrator of Burmeister and Waine Scandinavian
Contractor Mindanao Inc (BWSCMI), a Danish Independent Power Producer
that operates power barges in Mindanao. From 1994-1997, Warlito was
Division Manager of the Investment Generation and Project
Development of Davao Investment Promotion
Center/"Invest In Davao," a collaborative program of the City Government of Davao, USAID and the Philippine
Exporters Confederation which transformed Davao City from an
economic backwater into what Asiaweek called “The Philippines Most
Liveable City”. Warlito holds a Bachelors degree in
Biology from the Ateneo de Davao University.

KAREN
O'NEAL,
President and Chief Executive Officer. Karen immigrated to the US from Cebu, Philippines in 1997. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant in the private sector for 15 years and is currently working for the City of Healdsburg's Community Development Center. She is a Notary Public for the State of California. Karen attended Santa Rosa Junior College in California and University of San Carlos in the Philippines. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering for MoP and participating in local charity walks in her community. She loves books, movies, music, photography, and the outdoors. Karen lives with her husband, Steve O'Neal, in Santa Rosa, CA. |
DOREEN FLIPPIN,
Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer. Doreen Flippin is Vice
President for Administration of The Arthur Vining Davis Foundations,
a national philanthropic organization that provides assistance to
educational, cultural, scientific and religious institutions in the
United States. She
was previously Executive Assistant to the President andCEO of
Florida National Banks of Florida, Inc., a banking organization with
$7.65 billion in assets and 185 offices in Florida.
Doreen was on the Board of the Jacksonville Asian-American Alliance, a
nonprofit organization that promotes cultural, economic, educational
and social development of Asians in North Florida. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Multi Cultural Network, a volunteer organization promoting appreciation for the diverse culture of different countries around the world.
Doreen attended Far Eastern University
and Lyceum of the Philippines.

GRACE
R. ALLEN, Corporate Secretary. Born
and raised in the Philippines from the island of Cebu, Graces
speak two different Filipino dialects and Spanish. Her family
moved to the Central Valley where she attended Kings River Community
College and met her husband Bobby James. They moved to San Luis
Obispo to attend CalPoly University. Of course they fell in love
with SLO and the community and decided to stay. During her spare
time Grace loves to garden, spend time with family and friends, and
of course volunteer with Move on Philippines. Grace is currently the Director of Visitor Services for San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce. |
FELIX
L. OCON, Program
Administrator. Felix Ocon is a single
Christian and presently Science Research Assistant at National Abaca
Research Center (NARC), Leyte State University (LSU), Visca, Baybay,
Leyte, Philippines. In this position, Felix travels all over the
country. Currently, he is conducting a research study on the
varietal improvement of Abaca entitled "Collection, Morphological
Characterization and Maintenance of Abaca Germplasm". Felix's past
research work includes: (1) the Improvement of Sweet Potato variety,
a collaborative study of IDRC/IRCP and Visca; (2) Profiling the
Poverty Status of Western Samar, a joint study of NEDA-Visca; and
(3) Profiling Upland Agriculture and Fisheries supported by CVRP-Eastern
Visayas/Visca. Felix completed his undergraduate studies at LSU
holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, majoring in
Agronomy. He is currently pursuing master studies in Horticulture as
Major and Education as Minor. Felix is an active member of
Lakas-Angkan Ministry, Inc.-Leyte Based, a Christian campus
ministry. His work in the ministry includes sharing the Gospel (Word
of God), conducting Bible studies, teaching Sunday School,
following-up on new converts, visiting outreach projects and other
related Christian activities.
